In presenting himself as a living statue of failure he succeeds in being himself. It stands against success, ful llment, and the complete and the perfect, and shares with us the misfortunes of the artist as if in a conversation. He uses an accidental photograph of himself that occurred during another project as a self-portrait. This real-life image of an accident communicates with the other video piece in the exhibition in which we see the artist calmly traveling in a car when another car hits him from behind. This time the irony or the humor of the work reminds us of the endless trials and failures.
