Full HD Two Channel Video Installation – Color – Silent – 60’00″ – 2013
Videos installed face to face in the space that makes two sides can be able to observe or watch each other and also installation aims to create invisible buffer zone in between two video. I followed the buffer zone line and filmed different café houses (Türk Kahveleri ve Kafe Neo) in every village in both side. In the videos observation and waiting become political act and referring the current situation of two side of the Cyprus. South and north side got more pretentious in a nationalist and militarist way. They have been observing each other for long time it’s a long and silent waiting process like in the videos.
